Help Jamal’s family leave the war zone and rebuild their life!
United States
Hi my loves! My name is Caroline, and I created this fundraiser to help Jamal support his family as they fight to survive the genocide in Gaza, evacuate to safety, and eventually rebuild their lives from nothing.
Jamal’s family consists of 12 people, including children and elders. Their home was bombed, and they have lost everything, their shelter, belongings, community, and any source of income. They are currently living in extremely unsafe and inhumane conditions, with no stable access to food, clean water, or basic necessities.
Due to the total blockade and collapse of Gaza’s infrastructure, prices for basic items have skyrocketed, a single day’s worth of food and water for the family now costs around $200. Every dollar raised through this fundraiser is going toward daily survival: food, water, hygiene items, shelter materials, and emergency medical needs. When they can evacuate Gaza they will also need help to rebuild their lives after losing everything.
Here are Jamal’s words:
“I am Jamal from Gaza, a software engineer. My family consists of 12 members. We lost everything in Gaza, my home, my city, my university, and all my memories. I have been here for 19 months, trying to rebuild my family’s life, and I believe that hand in hand we can do that. This link will be for our expenses in Gaza because the prices are crazy, and for rebuilding our lives outside Gaza and after leaving until we reach a safe place and I can return to work as a software engineer.”
Please consider donating, sharing, and helping Jamal and his family survive each day. They have no other source of support, and every contribution truly helps them make it through another day. We are their lifeline. Thank you so much for standing with them during this devastating time! ❤️
Maintaining hope in this time is very difficult. All I am trying to do is have hope. I don’t know. I have become unable to express myself. I feel as if silence is the most expressive thing about our situation. But honestly, everything is bad except for you, my friends. You are the hope and goodness. All I always want to say is that I love you. Jamal❤️
I’m still we are just extremely tired and all I want to say today is that this world is unfair and you are making it more fair for us.
Today was very sad, my friend Dr. Mohammed was martyred in Nasser Hospital. He was a genius and wonderful, he had great and endless dreams. Like me he searched for hope in all directions and continued to study medicine and treat patients even under these terrifying circumstances, but now he is martyred. I hope he is now resting in peace. I hope he is relieved from this injustice and I hope his family is well because it is an unfathomable shock.
